COOKIES

Cookies are small text files that are sent from the websites that the user has visited to his computer (usually the browser) and stored there. If the same user visits the same websites next time, the cookies will be sent back to this website. While navigating a website, the user may also receive cookies on his computer sent by other websites or servers ("third parties"). These cookies may contain some elements (eg images, maps, sounds, specific links to the pages of other domains) that exist on the website the user visits.

The cookies, which are usually present in large numbers in users' browsers and sometimes persist for a long period of time, are used for a variety of purposes: IT authentication, monitoring of sessions, storing information about special configurations that affect users who use them access the server, etc.

For the correct use of the cookies, it is necessary to distinguish them according to the purposes pursued by the user, since there are no technical characteristics. (Regulation of the Data Protection Authority No 229 of 8 May 2014).

The DPA provides the following definitions in the cookie usage regulation:

Technical cookies:

Technical cookies are used exclusively to "enable the transmission of a message over an electronic communications network, or if this is absolutely necessary for the provider of an information society service, in order to make this service, which was explicitly requested by the subscriber or user available "(see Art. 122 (1) of the Data Protection Code).

They are not used for any other purpose and are usually installed directly by the owner or operator of the website. There are different cookies for different purposes: navigation or session cookies ensure normal navigation and use of the website (eg, facilitate purchases or authentication when accessing reserved areas); Analytics cookies are equivalent to the technical cookies provided they are used directly by the website operator to aggregate information about the number of users and the navigation behavior on the website; functional cookies allow the user to navigate according to selected criteria (e.g., language, products selected for purchase); their job is to improve the navigation experience for the user.

The installation of these cookies does not require the prior consent of users, but there is a duty to inform users in accordance with Article 13 of the Privacy Code. This information can be given by the operator of the site, if he uses only technical cookies, in the manner he deems appropriate.

Profiling cookies:

Profiling cookies are used to create profiles of users. They are used to send advertising messages adapted to the user's preferences according to their individual online behavior. As these devices seriously compromise the privacy of users, European and Italian regulations require the user to be informed accordingly about the use of these devices and thus have to give his valid consent.

It refers to Art. 122 of the Data Protection Code: "the archiving of information in a terminal of a contracting party or user or access to already archived information is only permitted if the contracting party or user has given their consent, in a simplified way in accordance with Article 13 (3) "(Article 122 (1) of the Data Protection Code).

Based on the above statements and classifications, we inform you that our website uses the following cookies, which can be differentiated according to the purposes pursued:

The banner that opens the first time you access the site, allows access to the page that allows the management of the various cookies used. There, the visitor can disable the use of unnecessary cookies. The default settings can be changed at any time.

In accordance with the requirements set out by the DPA (Order No 229 of 8 May 2014), the decision on the use of cookies is always stored by means of a technical cookie.

Cookies are not used for the transmission of information of a personal nature, nor for the so-called persistent cookies or systems for tracking users. The use of the so-called session cookies (which are stored in a non-permanent way on the user's computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identification data (consisting of random data generated by the server) for a safe and efficient investigation of the site.

The so-called session cookies used on this site prevent access to other informational procedures that may be detrimental to the confidentiality of the user's navigation and do not allow the user's personal data to be collected.
