Marxenhof

The Marxenhof is a small family farm, which covers 2.5 hectares. The farm is located on a hill above the town of Brixen. A farm shop was built in the summer of 2023. We produce fruit, vegetables, processed products, eggs, dried fruit and much more. The vegetables are grown according to the concept of Market Gardening. Using crop rotations, reduced tillage, compost, biodynamic preparations, effective microorganisms, compost tea and sowing, the soil is built up and kept healthy. For Matthias Klammer it is clear that only a healthy and vital soil can also produce healthy and vitalising food. Besides farming, "farm holidays" is another mainstay.

Products: Apples and juice, spelt, outdoor vegetables, plums, potatoes, sweet cherries, eggs, fattening pigs, bacon, bread, fruit spreads, dried fruit.
